In rotary vane vacuum pumps, valves, sealing rings, and vanes are among the typical wear parts. Valves are generally made of metal springs and plastic components and, depending on operating conditions and the type of fluid being pumped, may develop leaks over time.
Shut-off vanes are typically made of polymer materials and can also wear out and become worn during operation.
Scroll vacuum pumps generate a vacuum using two non-contacting spirals. Pfeiffer enhances this technology with a sophisticated design that reduces friction and noise, contributing to extremely quiet operation and very low vibration levels.
