Custom work has been part of Kuhner's DNA from the very beginning. When Adolf Kühner founded the company in 1949, bespoke solutions were the norm — not the exception. He would leave his home after lunch to go to his workshop with a simple phrase: "I am going to the Atelier." That spirit of hands-on, creative problem-solving lives on today in everything the Kuhner Atelier does.

In 2022, we formalized this legacy by launching the Kuhner Atelier as a fully independent department — giving our custom engineering the dedicated focus and resources it deserves.
