A reliable control of CO2 is essential when working with cells. The operation of the CO2 sensor is based on the NDIR single-beam dual-wavelength principle. The CO2 is added to the circulating air in small quantities by means of a magnetic valve. A digital PID control incorporating a microprocessor ensures exact matching of the gas flow and accurately maintains the desired CO2-value.
