Achieving a stable, homogeneous, and perfectly controlled light exposure for photosynthetic cultures is often a challenge: insufficient intensity, uneven illumination, difficulty reproducing day/night cycles, chamber overheating… Kuhner SUN is specifically designed to address these challenges.


Developed for Kuhner ISF1-Z Compressor incubator shaker, it delivers a powerful and uniform illumination of up to 321 µmol s⁻¹ m⁻². The independent control of two LED channels allows you to create realistic and reproducible lighting conditions tailored to each type of photosynthetic cell culture or microorganism – without complex installation or additional equipment.
