Each level of the shaker table has 5 individual clamps, so that 5 holders for 50 mL tubes can be clamped, making it a total of 240 tubes which can be processed at the same time. By opening one clamp, a single holder can be easily removed from the incubator shaker and processed under a clean bench while the remaining holders/trays keep on shaking. The double table is only suitable for the ISF1-Z incubator shakers. The maximum shaking speed for the double EPFL-table is 300 rpm at 50 mm shaking diameter.

The double EPFL-table is a customized project developed and produced by the Kuhner Atelier team. Two prototypes, one in our own testing lab and one at the customer’s premises, are in the testing phase right now. After the testing has been successfully completed, the double EPFL-table will become a standard product with a regular order number. Until then, customer requests for such a double EPFL-table can be realized as individual Kuhner Atelier projects.
