“Cell factory” systems are bioreactors for cultivating adherent cells, e.g., for vaccines and therapeutic proteins. iBET in Portugal is using the Kuhner ISF4-X as a giant static incubator (without shakers) to cultivate numerous cell factories. The ISF4-X is located in the pilot plant at iBET and being used for many projects from the Health and Pharma division.
