Founded in Basel, Switzerland, in 1949, Kuhner is a science-driven manufacturer of high-quality shaking solutions trusted by scientists and bioprocess professionals worldwide.

From benchtop shakers and incubator shakers to orbital shaken bioreactors and large-scale industrial systems, our solutions are designed to deliver precision, reliability, and long-term performance. Beyond engineering, we focus on understanding the science behind our customers’ cultivation processes. This enables us to develop solutions that support their applications, accelerate process development, and help achieve reproducible results.

Quality and durability have always been at the heart of Kuhner. To maintain our high standards, we design and manufacture many key components in-house and provide a 5-year warranty on our products. Our processes are certified according to SN EN ISO 9001, and Kuhner solutions are used worldwide in GMP-regulated environments.

Throughout the entire product lifecycle, we continuously enhance our documentation, development, and production processes to meet evolving industry requirements, including 21 CFR and GAMP 5.
