Last week, we were honored to welcome a group of distinguished scientists to Mas Boada, Kuhner Shakersโ science resort in Spain, for our ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐บ: ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒโreviving this special event 25 years after its previous edition in New York.

The symposium brought together leading professors and thought leaders from Asia, Europe, and North America, creating a unique opportunity for academic and industrial experts to connect. Across microbial and cell culture applications, participants shared research, practical insights, lessons learned, and future perspectives on small-scale cultivation. What stood out most was the openness of the discussions and the genuine enthusiasm for learning from one another.
While the presentations were outstanding, some of the most valuable exchanges happened away from the podium. Over lunches, dinners and gatherings throughout the week, conversations flowed across disciplines and cultivation scalesโfrom nanoliters to 1 literโsparking new ideas, fresh perspectives, and relationships that we hope will continue long after the symposium.
Shaking was a recurring theme throughout the eventโnot only in the science, but also during our evening boat excursion, where the Mediterranean wind and waves provided a memorable reminder of the concept in practice! ๐๐ค
Our sincere thanks to our esteemed partners and participants whose contributions helped make this event so special. Their expertise, curiosity, and willingness to engage made the symposium a truly rewarding experience. It was inspiring to see so many accomplished colleagues come together, and we are already looking forward to the next edition.
