To install two stacked LT-X machines in the cleanroom while ensuring that the technical parts of the shakers remain accessible from outside the cleanroom (specifically from the service room), a custom technical solution was developed for seamless wall integration. This setup ensures that the shakers’ contents remain sterile while allowing service technicians to access the machine from outside the cleanroom environment.
The key installation steps are as follows:
Frame Attachment
The frame is first attached directly to the wall on the cleanroom side by the cleanroom team, positioning it between the service room and the cleanroom.
Machine Positioning
Once the frame is secure, the two stacked LT-X machines are moved from the service room into the frame and aligned.
Sealing
The cleanroom technicians then seal the gaps between the frame and the machines with silicone, ensuring optimal insulation.
Installing the “Gap-Closer”
Finally, a “Gap-Closer” is installed to fill the space between the two stacked machines.
